Why Everline for Oil Changes

Modern engines are particular about oil. Turbocharged and direct-injection engines need the exact grade and specification the manufacturer calls for, or they wear faster and burn more fuel. We look up the specification for your VIN, use a quality filter, reset the maintenance light and record the service so your warranty stays intact.

Every Oil Change Includes

  • Manufacturer-specified oil grade and quantity
  • New oil filter and drain plug gasket
  • Courtesy multi-point inspection: brakes, tires, belts, hoses, lights, wipers, battery
  • Top-up of washer, coolant, brake and power steering fluids
  • Tire pressure set to the door-label specification
  • Maintenance reminder reset

When to Change Your Oil

  • The maintenance reminder is on
  • Oil on the dipstick is dark and gritty, or below the minimum mark
  • It has been 8,000 km (conventional) or 12,000 to 16,000 km (full synthetic), or 12 months
  • You tow, idle a lot, or drive short trips in winter, which all count as severe service

Oil Change Questions

How often should I change my oil?
Follow the manufacturer interval in your manual or the oil-life monitor. For most modern cars on full synthetic that is 12,000 to 16,000 km or once a year. Short winter trips shorten it.

Do I need synthetic oil?
If your manual specifies it, yes. Using a lower grade can void warranty and increase wear in turbocharged and direct-injection engines.

Will an independent shop void my warranty?
No. In Canada you may service your vehicle anywhere as long as the manufacturer schedule is followed and recorded. We keep the records.

How long does it take?
About 30 to 45 minutes including the inspection. Book online and we will have your oil ready.

Do you reset the oil light?
Yes, every time.
