Every changeover includes a tread and condition check on both sets, correct torque, pressures set to the door label, and a TPMS relearn where needed. Stored tires are bagged, labelled by position and kept indoors, away from sun and ozone, so they are ready when you are.

When to Switch
Winter tires on when daytime highs stay below 7 °C, usually late October to mid-November in Ottawa. Off again when spring highs stay above 7 °C, usually mid-April. Book early: the first cold snap fills the calendar fast.

How long does a changeover take?
About 30 minutes on rims, about an hour if tires need mounting and balancing.
Should winter tires be on their own rims?
Yes if you can. Changeovers are faster and cheaper, and alloys stay away from salt.
